This product was selected after many on-line shopping for the best and most technologically advanced in these dimensions. We already have a Bravia for the bedroom and are very happy.
We are very pleased with how it performs in a room full of light. We were afraid that it would continually adjust the backlight, but we left in mid-range is not tampered with it since day one. The image is beautiful day and night without adjustment. The screen does not reflect the windows and other bright objects in the room as our TV is unprecedented.
We now use the USB port on the side, if we want to show the images from our digital camera. The quality is absolutely amazing. Even old family slides that were scanned using the Canon 8800F are breathtaking.
We connected to a wireless bridge to the Ethernet port on the TV and can watch YouTube and other websites.

I just got a XBR9 Sony. Totally happy. I read all the comments and I think that the problem of the backlight is there, but not as bad as some say. You can set the backlight to your liking. Also, if you watch HD or BR in the dark, the rear is more pronounced. But I have noticed, is actually only on horizontal bars above and below the true image. However, I think the negative back-lighting is more than exaggerated. In essence, the image is by far the best local digital and HD channels are beautiful. Sport makes it even more fun to watch.

Consumer Reports top rated this TV and they were right! The picture is terrible and everything is easy to use. Forget controls virtually invisible on the front of everything, but the distance is great, easy to use on-screen menu. And the initial setup was easy, no need.
The price of Amazon ($ 1325) was very close to the lowest, shipping is free, and deal with Amazon was great as usual. I could not be happier with the product and experience with Amazon.

This plasma is really good. I watched the various television at Best Buy and Plasmas well as LCD screens and does not cost much. I have Dish Network and HD are working really well. The color is really great. A swivel stand would be nice, but apart from that no complaints.
